Polop, also known as Polop de la Marina is an inland town further north of La Nucía. It is located approximately 11 kilometers from Benidorm and 8 kilometers from Altea, the three towns forming a right triangle. To get to the El Altet airport (Alicante), the most logical thing is to go to Benidorm and then take the A-7 motorway to the same airport, the journey taking about 55 minutes in total.

It should be noted that it was an Aragonese stately barony and that it has become a quiet town, full of land and plots of all kinds where people go to spend weekends in their country houses and enjoy the charms of an inland town. and, of course, to drink and collect its well-known waters from the fountains of the jets.
